在前不久刚刚结束的TGS 2006上，TECMO展台最靓丽的一道风景线就要数《死或生 沙滩排球2》了。这款完完全全以美女为主打的游戏玩法轻松有趣，再加上有众多沙滩美少女的映衬，绝对是休闲娱乐的不二选择。
本作在系列前作的基础上增加了许多更具对抗性的小游戏，使得游戏乐趣倍增。当然，游戏中最引人注目的依然是那些性感的的《DOA》招牌美女们。利用Xbox 360的机能，加上采用了全新的技术，游戏中少女们的动作、表情看起来更加自然逼真，动作也更加流畅协调。此外，本作还加入了“日晒痕”的概念，尽管这个新要素的实际效果还没有得到玩家们的普遍认可，但游戏的逼真程度无疑得到了相应的提升。
