Longdong University (LDU) is a provincial full-time comprehensive university located in the City of Qingyang in Gansu Province.

The University occupies an area of 230.6 acres, with a total gross floor area of 550,000 m. The number of enrolled full-time undergraduates students is 15,327 and there are more than 3000 students of various types continuing their postgraduate education. There are 1,033 faculty members, including 369 professors and associate professors; 563 have got a Doctorate or Masters degree. The university offers 52 undergraduate specialties covering 11 disciplines, including: Literature, Natural Science, Education, Engineering, Agriculture, Management Science, Law and Medicine. The university has 8 provincial characteristic specialties, 4 provincial teaching teams, 7 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, and 27 provincial distinguished courses.There are two student canteen buildings on our campus. Convenient and fast dining services are provided for students, as well as well-equipped stadiums, a gymnasium, university students’ center, concert hall etc.

LDU always attaches importance to international education. It has established intercollegiate cooperation and exchange relationships with 29 universities in the USA, Germany, Russia and other countries. The university is a member of the "1+2+1 Sino-America Talents Program". Some teachers and students have studied in the USA, UK, Ukraine and other countries. Foreign teachers and experts from the UK, USA, Canada, etc. have been employed to conduct teaching and research in LDU.

Section 1 Admission Type

The university enrolls students for undergraduate courses.

1. Self-financed students: unlimited

2. The President Scholarship: 15 seats.

Section 2 Disciplines and majors Section

1. International students may choose one of the disciplines and majors authorized to confer a bachelor's degree (refer to annex 1: Majors for International Student 2019)

2. Students who enjoy the President Scholarship are enrolled in Chinese Language and Literature, Economics, Network Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.

Section 3 Mode and Length of Study

1. The mode is full-time. There are 2 semesters and the first one is from September to January, the second one is from February to July.

2. Length of Study: 4 years for Bachelor’s Degree. The main teaching language is in Chinese.

Section 4 Eligibility

1.The applicant must be non-Chinese with a valid passport

2. The applicant must be in good health and have no criminal record, and will observe all the laws of China as well as the rules and regulations of LDU

3. An effective HSK certificate (level 4, 180 or more) is required by the applicant

Section 5 Application Materials

The following materials are needed (1 copies for each)

1. Application Form for International Students filled in Chinese or English (refer to annex 2)

2. Highest Diploma and transcript with notary signature

3. Certificate of HSK

4. Foreigner's Physical Examination Form (refer to annex 3) and blood test report

5. Passport photocopy

Section 6 Application Deadline

All the application materials are required to be scanned and submitted by email: ldxygjc@ldxy.edu.cn before 30 July 2019.

Section 7 Approval, Notification and Enrollment

LDU will organize a committee to review all the application materials and make the decision whether or not to admit the applicants. After that, LDU will release the list of matriculated students and send them the Admission Notice of LDU and Visa Application for Study in China (i.e.: JW202 Form) for “X1” visa application in the Chinese embassy. All the International students admitted to LDU are responsible for their visa application on their own.

Enrollment: August 2019. The definite time will be informed on the Admission Notice. All the admitted students should be enrolled in LDU on time according to the Admission Notice.

Section 8 Fees

1. Self-paid student please find the details from the attachment.

2. LDU sets the LDU President Scholarship which includes: free bachelor degree study (4 years), including tuition and lodging. Living subsidy: 500 RMB/month (totally 12 months/year, the first year). 500 RMB to 1200 RMB/month (totally 12 months/year, 2-4 years).

陇东学院2019年国际学生招生简章

陇东学院地处甘肃省庆阳市，是一所全日制综合性省属公立普通本科院校。占地面积1400余亩，校舍建筑面积55万平方米, 现有全日制在校生15327人、各类继续教育学生3000余人；教职工1033人，其中教授、副教授369人，博士、硕士学位教师563人。现开设52个本科专业，涵盖了文、理、教、工、农、管、法、医等11个学科门类。有8个省级特色专业、4个省级教学团队、7个省级实验教学示范中心、27门省级精品课程。学校有学生食堂大楼，可为学生提供方便快捷的就餐服务。有设施齐全的体育场、体育馆、大学生活动中心、音乐厅等文体活动场馆。学校重视国际化教育，与美国、德国、俄罗斯等国家的29所院校建立了校际合作交流关系,承担《1+2+1中美人才培养计划》等国际合作项目。先后派出教师、学生到美国、英国、乌克兰等国留学。长期聘请美国、英国、加拿大等国外籍专家从事我校教学和科研工作。

我校特别设立“陇东学院国际学生校长奖学金”,吸引品学兼优的各类留学生。陇东学院拥有有良好的教学、生活设施及优雅的校园环境，热诚欢迎世界各国学生来校学习。

2019年秋季国际学生招生工作现已开始，现将具体事宜公布如下：

一、招生类别和名额

招收本科层次学历生。

1.自费生：名额不限；

2.享受“校长奖学金”学生：15名。

二、招生学科和专业

1.我校具有学士学位授予权的学科专业均招收自费国际学生接受学历教育（详见附件1：陇东学院2019年国际学生招收专业目录）；

2.享受“校长奖学金”学生招收专业为：汉语言文学；经济学；网络工程；石油工程。

三、学习方式和学习年限

1.学习方式为全日制。我校实行双学期制，第一个学期九月至一月，第二个学期二月至七月。

2.学制4年，授课语言为汉语。
