致外籍教师的一封信

A Letter to Foreign Experts

亲爱的外籍教师：

Dear Foreign Experts,

值此2020年新春佳节之际，首先我们向大家表示衷心的祝福！

On the occasion of the Spring Festival in 2020, first we express our heartfelt wishes to you all!

近期，中国湖北省等多地发生新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，中国正在全国范围内积极采取措施控制疫情扩散蔓延，甘肃省等省市区已启动重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应。学校对此高度重视，非常惦念校内外每一位师生的身体健康和生命安全，为共同努力尽早打赢这场疫情防控战，现向外籍教师做出如下通知：

Recently, the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak has caused worldwide attention and a lot of control measures are being taken in China. Gansu Normal University for Nationalities(GNUN) has been paying great attention to the safety and health of all students, faculty and staff members. In order to work together to fight the coronavirus, please pay attention to following notifications:

1.请外籍教师及时关注并自觉遵守学校发布的相关规定、通知和通告要求。

Please always learn and follow related notices, information and regulations issued by school.

2.为做好疫情防控，切实保障广大师生的健康和安全，学校目前已封闭学生公寓楼及教学楼，封闭期间禁止一切外来人员入内、楼内人员出入需登记并进行体温检测。

To guarantee the healthy and safety of all students, faculty and staff members, the students dormitory buildings and teaching buildings have been closed at present. During the closing period, all outsiders are forbidden to enter and people in the building should register and measure body temperature when leaving and returning.

3.在校外籍教师申请离校回国或去中国其他城市地区的，须提前联系国际合作与交流处办理请假手续。

Those who plan to leave GNUN and go back to their home country or to other cities of China, should contact the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange before leaving to ask for leave.

4.已经离校的外籍教师不得在学校开学前提前返校。学校具体开学时间视疫情防控情况和学校安排将另行通知。

Those who already left GNUN should not return to school before the new semester officially begins. The beginning time of new semester will be notified later according to the coronavirus control situation and school notice.

5.学校已取消寒假期间所有集体活动，以上活动何时恢复待学校另行通知。

GNUN has already stopped all group activities during the winter vacation, and the re-open time will be announced later.

6.学校将加强校园管理，定期开展学生公寓等公共场所的消毒工作，严格实施门禁制度，对外来人员实施登记制度。希望外籍教师积极配合且不要邀请或接受外来人员来访。

School will strengthen management of the campus and timely sterilize public venues including student dormitories. Main gates of school have been closed and outsiders should register before entering the school. Please cooperate and do not invite outsiders to enter school.

7.外籍教师请保持联系方式畅通。在中国境内的请及时通报国际合作与交流处所在地及身体状况。如出现发热、乏力、干咳等症状，马上联系我们以便及时采取相关措施，身边人员如有患病请积极配合做好通报排查和隔离工作。

Please keep in touch with the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. Those in China please timely report us about your location and physical condition. In case of fever, cough and other symptoms, please report to us as soon as possible in order to take relative measures. If people around you have the above symptoms, please help to report and take certain isolation methods.

8.疫情防控期间，请外籍教师减少出行、不参加聚会聚餐等集体活动，避免前往人员密集的场所，避免近距离接触野生动物。如确需外出，请做好佩戴口罩等防范措施。同时请保持良好的个人生活和卫生习惯，勤洗手、勤消毒、住所常通风、健康饮食、进行合理的体育锻炼。

During this special period, please reduce the time of going out. Do not participate in parties and other group activities, do not go to public areas, and keep away from wild animals. If you have to go out, please wear masks. Please keep healthy living habits, always wash hands, disinfect and keep your room ventilated. Please eat healthy food and take reasonable physical exercises.

9.请外籍教师正确对待新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，认识到疫病可防可控。不造谣、不信谣、不传谣，不在网络上发布未经证实的相关信息，客观对待、科学防控。

Please have objective understanding of the coronavirus and please believe it can be controlled and prevented. Please do not believe in or transfer unconfirmed information or rumor.

10.国际合作与交流处将密切关注疫情的发展情况以及学校和上级部门的相关通知，将随时与外籍教师保持联系、通报信息，也请外籍教师密切关注我们发布的相关通知。

Office of International Cooperation and Exchange will closely follow the situation and notification from upper level departments and will keep in touch with foreign experts to timely publicize related information. Please always pay attention to our information.

配合做好疫情防控工作，关乎到我们每一个人的利益，也是我们每一位民院人应尽的责任和义务。请相信，学校始终关心着每一位师生的健康和安全，让我们共同努力，定会早日打赢这场疫情防控战，定会早日恢复正常的学习生活!

Working together to fight against coronavirus is related to everyone’s benefit and is also our task and responsibility as GNUNers. Please believe that GNUN always cares about the healthy and safety of all students, faculty and staff members, and please believe that with our joint efforts, the battle against the virus will succeed and the normal study life will recover soon!
