Donation | 玩转跳蚤市场，助力创新创业

毕业生离校，剩余物品怎么办？很多高校会开设毕业生跳蚤市场。但与其他高校不同的是，广东以色列理工学院的毕业生跳蚤市场被做成了公益项目，所有款项将被用于支持学生创新创业。

广东以色列理工学院暑期跳蚤市场在为期三天的活动中共得款项2150.5元，活动组织者ACE创业商社计划将全部款项以“2021届毕业生”的名义捐赠给学校教育发展基金会，用于支持学生创新创业发展。这是广以建校以来首次收到来自学生团体的资金捐赠。

蒙尘物件再闪光

早在7月初，ACE创业商社的工作人员就在宿舍楼A栋楼下放置空箱子，用于收集大四毕业生的闲置物品。收集完毕后经分类整理，所有物品被整齐地摆上货架。跳蚤市场于8月13日正式开业，低价出售本次收集所得物件。

准备过程中，组织者们遇到不小的挑战。物品收集恰逢军训期间，他们在忙碌的军训结束后，还需抽出时间清点、整理物品，最后一天晚上结束工作时，已是深夜一点。商品定价时，他们也有不少意见分歧。组织者之一王润回忆道：“有些物品的价格难以确定，我们就先在内部轮流砍价。比如一本雅思学习资料，最初定价是20元，可有人认为太贵了。经过几轮砍价，我们最终把售价定为8元。”

跳蚤市场正式开张后，小小的仓库不到半小时就挤满了人。看到大家专注、有序、开心地挑选着自己心仪的物品，王润对同伴说：“真心希望他们都能将淘到的物品变‘废’为宝。”

是关爱，更是传承

在此次活动中，2017级毕业生无偿提供了自己认为最有价值的闲置物品，大部分物品仅使用过几次，有些甚至是全新的。组织者之一王燕有感而发：“师兄师姐们留下来的不仅是一个实用的物品，更重要的是它所代表的传承和引领，能帮助学弟学妹更好地融入新的学习和生活环境。一件闲置物品传递出的浓浓校友情，在我看来弥足珍贵。”

在2021级的新生眼中，活动组织者的无私付出亦让他们深受感动。“如果没有学长学姐们的精心组织，此次活动不会如此顺利举行。我能感受到他们总想为我们新生做点什么，我觉得他们同样值得被点赞。”

商社精神的延续

ACE创业商社一直是广以一张独特的名片，它以创新为核心，鼓励广以学子积极创造，大胆尝试。此次活动的缘起和目的，亦是与“创新”紧密相关。

现任创业商社社长张林潼说：“作为商社的社长，我一直思索着能为广以的第一届毕业生做点什么。受前任社长岑致诺创新精神的启发，我萌生了做跳蚤市场的想法。怎么去做，是一次尝试；怎么做好它，亦是一次挑战。不过作为创新者，不断经受挑战是必然，我们并不惧怕，我们团队的小伙伴们都非常给力！”

林潼表示，筹得的所有款项将捐赠给学校教育发展基金会，用于设立创新创业奖学金。“尽管款项有限，但我们也希望能通过自己的努力，为后继的广以学子铺平道路，支持他们更好地创业创新。”

广东以色列理工学院教育发展基金会

经汕头市教育与民政局批准，广东以色列理工学院教育发展基金会于2019年3月注册成立，为非公募基金会。基金会的宗旨是发动和凝聚社会各方力量，推动和促进广东以色列理工学院的建设和发展，为国家教育事业、社会公益事业的长远发展服务。

What to do with the surplus belongings of the graduates? Many universities may open flea markets. But unlike other universities, GTIIT Graduates Flea Market has been turned into a public welfare project, with all funds going to support students' innovation and entrepreneurship.

GTIIT Summer Flea Market received 2,150.5 yuan in total during the three-day activity. GTIIT Association of Commercial Entrepreneur (ACE), the organizer of the event,decided to donate all the money to GTIIT Education Foundation in the name of "Class of 2021", which will be used to support GTIIT students' innovation and entrepreneurship.This is the first time that GTIIT has received financial donations from student groups.

Dusty Things Shining again

At the beginning of July, the members of ACE have put empty boxes in the first floor of Dormitory A to collect unused objects of the graduates. After the busy collection and arrangement, the Summer Flea Market opened on August 13th, selling all the objects at a low price.

The organizers met many difficulties in the preparation. The time period of preparation and military training was collided, so they always needed to overcome tiredness to carry on collecting objects. When evaluating the price of an object, they also had many arguments. One of the organizers Wang Run recalled:"If the price of some objects are hard to determine, then they will bargain. For example, the initial price of a book was 20 yuan, and its final price was 8yuan after several rounds of haggling."

When the flea market formally opened, the small room was crowded with customers just within 30 minutes. Looking at customers selecting objects carefully and happily, Wang Run whispered with partner:"I do hope they can make full use of these old objects."

The Care from the Seniors

In this activity, Class of 2017 selflessly provided objects that they thought was of high quality, most of which were brand new. One of the organizers Wang Yan said:"The value of an object is not only existed in its practical usage, but also existed in its significance. From my perspective, it's very precious that a small object can bridge the gap between different grades."

In freshmen's view, the organizers' selflessness touched them a lot. "Without the elaborate arrangement of the senior students, this activity couldn't be held so successfully. I think they also should be praised."

The Spirit of Innovation

ACE is a unique representative of GTIIT, whose core is innovation, with the aim of encouraging GTIIT students to spare no effort to create and innovate. The origin and the purpose of this activity are also related to "innovation".

Zhang Lintong, the present president of ACE said:"I always want to do something meaningful for the first class of graduates of GTIIT. Inspired by the innovation spirit of Cen Zhinuo, the funding president of ACE, it occurred to me to create this flea market. How to do it well is a huge challenge for us, because nobody has attempted it before. But as an innovator full of courage to restart, challenge is not frightened to us! The total money will be donated to the GTIIT Education Foundation, aiming to establish the scholarship for innovation." Zhang Lintong also said:"Although the amount of the money is limited, it's also our contribution to help succeeded innovators."

GTIIT Education Foundation

GTIIT Education Foundation is a private fundraising foundation approved by the Shantou Education Bureau and Civil Affairs Bureau, established in March 2019. The mission is to gain widespread support from society to promote the development of GTIIT, to promote the long-term development of the national education affairs and public welfare through fundraising activities and funds management.
