值此“瓷的精神”——2021景德镇国际陶瓷艺术双年展开幕之际，我作为国际陶艺学会主席，向各位老师、同学和伙伴们表示热烈祝贺！
经过百十年的发展，景德镇陶瓷大学已成为陶瓷技术创新、陶瓷文化和艺术交流领域中最重要的基地，培养了一大批优秀的陶瓷人才，为中国陶瓷工业的发展发挥了重要作用。通过广泛的国际合作，景德镇陶瓷大学探索了一条国际陶瓷教育与陶瓷文化交流与合作相结合的独特方式。
中国是陶瓷的母国，景德镇是中国瓷都和世界陶瓷文化的中心。景德镇为人类文明的繁荣发展做出了巨大贡献，承载着陶瓷的过去、现在和未来。
2019年，中华人民共和国国务院批准设立景德镇国家陶瓷文化传承创新试验区。为打造和推广对外陶瓷文化交流新平台，景德镇市人民政府与景德镇陶瓷大学、国际陶艺学会以及中国对外文化集团有限公司共同创立并启动了“瓷器精神”——2021景德镇国际陶艺双年展。
景德镇陶瓷大学不断开拓创新，并在中国和世界范围内的陶瓷领域建立新的合作伙伴关系。国际陶艺学会与景德镇陶瓷大学有着长期的合作关系。国际陶艺学会的目标是促进各国陶瓷领域专业人士之间的友谊和交流。国际陶艺学会为拥有景德镇陶瓷大学作为机构成员以及景德镇陶瓷大学的几位教授作为个人成员而感到自豪。
我代表国际陶艺学会预祝景德镇国际陶艺双年展在未来取得更好的成绩。

On the occasion of the launch of the 2021 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale, The Spirit of Ceramic, as the President of the International Academy of Ceramics, I extend my congratulations to you, your faculty, students and partners.
Over the course of more than one hundred and ten years JCU is the most important base for innovations in ceramic technology, ceramic culture and artistic exchange. JCU has trained a large number of outstanding ceramic talents, and played an important role in the development of China's ceramics industry. Through extensive international cooperation, Jingdezhen Ceramic University has explored a unique way of combining both international ceramics education, ceramic cultural exchange and cooperation.
China is the motherland of ceramics. Jingdezhen is the ancient capital of Chinese porcelain and the epicenter of world ceramic culture. Jingdezhen has greatly contributed to the prosperity and development of human civilization, embodying the past, present and future of ceramics.
In 2019, the State Council of the People’s Republic of China approved the establishment of the Jingdezhen National Ceramic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Pilot Zone. To create and promote new international ceramic platforms for cultural exchange with other countries, the Jingdezhen Municipal People’s Government, together with China Arts and Entertainment Group LtD, the International Academy of Ceramics, and Jingdezhen Ceramic University, have jointly established, and launching, the 2021 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale, The Spirit of Ceramics.
Jingdezhen Ceramic University continues to develop and innovate, as well as forge new partnerships in the field of ceramics both within China and worldwide. The International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) has a long term relationship with Jingdezhen Ceramic University. The goal of IAC is to stimulate friendship and communication between professionals in the field of ceramics in all countries. The IAC is proud of having the Jingdezhen Ceramic University as Institutional member, as well as several of the JCU professors as individual members.
On behalf of the International Academy of Ceramics I wish Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale the very best for the future.
