It is with great pleasure that I congratulate you on your admission to NYU Shanghai. The opportunities available to you over the next four years, both in Shanghai and across NYU's global network, will be in abundance; everything ranging from student researcher positions working on cutting-edge projects, to internships at the most prestigious organizations. Whether you are still finding your way or are dedicated to an academic path, NYU Shanghai is always here to support and guide you.My own NYU Shanghai story has seen me work in Zambia for a Chinese construction giant, intern at the United Nations in Washington DC, cover Armenia's Velvet Revolution for an independent media outlet, and invest in a burger restaurant in Shanghai. Looking back to when I received my offer of admission while sitting at home in rural northeast China, I could never have imagined the journey I'd have throughout these four phenomenal years.
