上海纽约大学的博士项目现已开启2020年秋季学期招生，为了让感兴趣的同学更加深入和直观地了解项目内容、研究方向、学术资源，以及申请流程等重要信息，研究生与研修项目办公室将于11月4日在上海纽约大学举办博士研究生项目开放日（PhD Open house）。届时，来自八个项目的博士导师和在读博士生会到现场进行交流分享，讲座后更有机会与他们做近距离的一对一交流，机会难得，不容错过。我们诚挚邀请感兴趣的同学认真阅读以下详细信息，并于10月31日前报名参加。

The Office of Graduate and Advanced Education will host the annual PhD Open House on Monday, November 4th, 2019 for students who are interested in the NYU Shanghai doctoral programs. Participants will have the opportunities to listen toNYU Shanghai PhD faculty's indroduction of their research areas and labs, and have one-on-one Q&A sessions with faculty group of each PhD discipline. Current PhD students will also attend the events and share their application and study experience. All interested are welcome to attend! Please RSVP via the QR code below by October 31.

Students accepted into these programs normally begin by spending their first year in New York City for foundational PhD coursework, completed alongside other NYU PhD students in their discipline, before transitioning full-time to research groups led by NYU Shanghai faculty.

All students are supported through a generous financial aid program - the NYU Shanghai Doctoral Fellowship, which includes scholarships covering NYU tuition and fees, annual stipends, travel funds, and enrollment in an international health insurance plan. Annual stipends are equal to stipends received by all other NYU PhD students in their discipline.

In these programs, students receive a world-class NYU doctoral education, along with a truly distinctive global experience across multiple NYU campuses. In Shanghai, students benefit from NYU Shanghai’s cutting-edge research environment, where new world-class platforms for discovery and exploration, training, and international collaboration are being pioneered, all while living in one of the world’s most incomparable cities.

NYU Shanghai has been running the doctoral programs for five years and is now expecting the sixth intake of students to join the community.
