在2018年最强大脑的舞台上，有这样一个少年：14岁参赛，就在10万人中拔得头筹；在聚光灯下比赛，依旧沉着冷静连续获得前三名；与清北、牛剑选手同台，仍能稳步闯进30强。他就是常峻硕，最强大脑舞台上的“智力小巨人”。

今年九月，常峻硕同学作为2021年新生，正式入学宁诺经济学专业，开启了他人生的新篇章。

明星光环？

“不，我只是个普通人”

在常峻硕身上被提及最多的一个标签，是“最强大脑海选第一名”。被问到这个标签会不会成为同学们眼里的光环时，他低头一笑说并没有太多人注意到这件事，不过自己为了通过社团组织的面试，还是把这段经历写了上去。在他眼中，“第一名”并非他急于摆脱的标签，也不是他拿来炫耀的资本。只不过是他少年时参加了一场比赛，恰好拿到了不错的名次，但更重要的是在这其中交到了朋友，也增长了见识。

谈及在《最强大脑》节目中的收获，常峻硕表示除了一些到现在还会联系的朋友之外，更重要的是发掘出了自己对于数独和高难度题目的兴趣。在节目之后，他还参加了很多数独方面的比赛，在全国数独锦标赛中取得了前50名的好成绩。

此外，他是很多高智商俱乐部的会员，同时也是“静宅”高智商俱乐部的出题人，空闲时间思考测试题目已经成为了他的日常生活的一部分。

这样一个“天才少年”最终选择宁诺，常同学说这是基于辅导他多年的数独老师推荐。虽然之前对这所学校未曾了解，但一经了解他就极速被宁诺的自由和独特圈粉了。

开放的学术氛围刚好可以给他自由发展的空间，多样且国际化的选择也十分符合他对于未来的期待。而他坦言选择经济系是顺理成章的事情，“据说经济系的未来前景比较好，而且数学比较难。”

只会读书？

不，他学习娱乐两不误

对于在宁诺的校园生活，采访中常同学说得最多的就是“挺好的”、“很满意”。相比于其他在社团组织与学习中来回奔波的大一同学，他身上似乎更多了几分游刃有余。

由于从初中开始就经常参加一些全球性的比赛或者智商测试，所以全英文的题目对他来说是家常便饭；而号称全校最卷的经济系数学课程，对于数独锦标赛全国前50的他来说更是不成问题。

除了天赋和积累，常同学的这份游刃有余也来自于他的谦逊和自知。虽然大一的学业不算忙碌，但他还是没有选择加入太多的社团组织，问及原因他表示不希望占用自己太多时间，还是想要认真学习。这种少而精的选择反而让他在社团组织中有精力去承担更重要的职责，他作为项目组成员筹备的音乐节以及作为Leader准备的宣讲会都将在不久之后呈现在全校同学面前。

虽然嘴上时常挂着“好好学习”，但这并不意味着他不会娱乐。在课堂之外，学校的I-week（新生周）期间，常峻硕结识了一群可以一起学习、一起玩乐的好朋友。他们会经常凑在一起玩桌游、密室等等属于Z时代的娱乐活动，在他眼中，这群朋友是“在游戏输掉之后会立刻拿起电脑学习”的人。也是这群朋友，让他在宁诺感受到了更多的快乐和归属感。

谈到未来，常同学说他希望大一均分80+，并且还打算再次参加今年的数独锦标赛。至于更远的未来，他觉得现在考虑还太早，“好好学习，专注于眼前的路，一步一步脚踏实地向前走就行了。”

“Super Brain” contestant starts learning journey at UNNC

Junshuo Chang, renowned as the first prize winner of audition in the popular TV show “Super Brain”, started his university life as a year one student of Economics at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).

In the 2018 Super Brain, the 14-year-old Junshuo stood out from 100,000 contestants in the audition and managed to steadily reach the top 30 competing with people from top universities such as Cambridge and Oxford.

When talking about what he gained from this experience, Junshuo shares that it enlightened his interest in Sudoku and solving difficult mathematical problems. He has been among the top 50 of the China Sudoku Championship and is a member of many high IQ clubs. He is also the test author of the Silent House High IQ Society. For Junshuo, mulling over test questions in spare time is a part of his daily life.

According to Junshuo, the reason why he chose UNNC was the recommendation of his Sudoku teacher who had tutored him for years. Although unfamiliar with the university at first, he was immediately attracted by its free and open atmosphere and the British education style after learning about it. Despite his interest in mathematics, he eventually settled on Economics because he looks forward to a career in the area.

So far, Junshuo feels happy and at ease with his university life. Compared with other year one students who may encounter perplexity, he has adapted to the preliminary year effortlessly. Since he has participated in international competitions and IQ tests since junior high school, he has no difficulty accustoming to classes in English, and with brilliant mathematical foundation, he can easily solve the complicated math problems of Economics.

In addition to talent and accumulation of academic knowledge, the excellence of Junshuo is also derived from his humility and self-awareness. Instead of participating in multiple student associations and organisations like many freshers, he plans to utilise his time and concentrate on study and the specific organisations that he is interested in.

Junshuo also knows the importance of proper relaxation. During induction week, he has been acquainted with friends whom he can both study and have fun with. They often gather together and play games that are popular among generation Z such as board games. It is these friends that give him a sense of belonging at UNNC.

When speaking of the future, Junshuo hopes to score an average of over 80 in the preliminary year and plans to compete in the national Sudoku championship again this year. As for the distant future, Junshuo decides that he will "just study hard, concentrate on the present and be firmly grounded".
