为庆祝2018利物浦文学节，由利物浦大学主办，以“中国”为主题的青年写手征集活动正式开启！

本次征集面向西交利物浦大学全体学生，我们希望你的“中国”故事充满惊喜和创意！

所有参赛作品将由本次大赛的评审，著名作家Philip Pullman评出。Pullman是当代英国最杰出的作家之一，国际畅销书“黑暗物质三部曲”作者。《黑暗物质三部曲》出版后，畅销不坠，风靡欧美，普尔曼也因此被认为是“继《魔戒》作者J·R·R·托尔金之后最优秀的盎格鲁-撒克逊奇幻小说家”。

获奖作者名单将会在2018年10月19日-21日举办的利物浦文学节典礼上公布。所有获奖作者将会收到由Philip Pullman颁发的奖券和本次获奖作品的成书。

活动规则

本次活动奖项分为一、二、三等奖，比赛的最终结果将在利物浦文学节上公布。
本次活动没有任何参赛费用，但每个作者只可提交一部参赛作品。
每个参赛作品的字数不超过500字。
参赛作品的语言为英语。

To celebrate the launch of the 2018 Liverpool Literary Festival. The search is on for the best young writers to create a short story on the theme of China.

Stories by XJTLU students can be about anything as long as it has a Chinese theme - in fact, the more inventive the better!

Entries will be judged by award-winning author Philip Pullman, and the winners will be announced at a special ceremony during the Festival which takes place 19-21 October 2018, where they will receive a voucher prize plus a printed book of their work presented by Philip himself.

Competition Consideration

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category, with the winners announced at Liverpool Literary Festival.
There is no entry fee, but each writer can only enter one story.
There is a 500-word limit and all submissions must be written in English.
The closing date is midnight on 20 July 2018.

The University of Liverpool is an official partner of Liverpool’s China Dream season, which will see a host of events across the city, including the China’s First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors exhibition at the World Museum.
