I wanted to record a short message for our alumni community, and particularly for our alumni community in China.

To reassure you about the steps that we are taking and have taken, to ensure that our Chinese students studying here in Liverpool and those studying in XJTLU are well looked after.

The whole city of Liverpool is thinking about you and your families and the people who come invest their time and energy in living in this wonderful city, but thoses who have graduated from here and who still retain a fondness, just to reassure you that whole city of Liverpool is thinking of you. And we hope there will be soon a resolution to this outbreak.
