Last week, more than 100 aspiring researchers gathered to present their work at the annual Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship poster day.

The fellowship awards undergraduate students funding to complete research projects, in collaboration with academic supervisors, during their summer holidays.

SURF是什么

从2011年开始，西交利物浦大学学术事务中心和教学发展基金共同发起 “夏季本科生科研奖学金计划”（Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship，SURF），至今已经走过第五个年头啦~

SURF旨在将本科学生带入科研领域，提高大家的科研兴趣和创造能力，将书本理论知识运用到实践，为学生毕业后申请研究生做准备，甚至为其提供在国际学术期刊发表科研论文的机会。

目前西浦的SURF项目面向全体在校本科生，每年的5月份将由各院系向全校征集有意愿参与的学生并进行筛选。
