CPS Workshop: Active Learning and Student Engagement

One way of supporting/enhancing student learning is through the use of ‘Active Learning'. This workshop will look at practical ideas for improving active learning in lectures and tutorials.

The workshop will include the opportunity for participants to assess how these ideas might be applied in their own teaching context.

International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is excited to invite you to join the Behavioural Patterns in the Chinese Workplace Seminar Session hosted by IBSS's Suzhou Executive Academy (SEA).

Regardless of whether you are Chinese, Asian or a Western Expat, you have to consider the question of "suitable" behaviour in your organisation as a decisive factor of success!

Being aware that behavioural patterns at work in China differ a lot from the ones in western oriented countries, the seminar provides you the chance to identify behavioural patterns potential scope of impact onto your organisation; gives guidelines about how to evaluate them and finally presents examples about how to influence them in a way that they support your business and success.
