Workshop: Supervisor-Supervisee Relationships

Target Audience: PhD students – mandatory for Year 1 PhD students, and strongly recommended for Year 2 PhD students
The Supervisor-Supervisee Relationships workshop aims to provide PhD students with key information about how to develop and manage a good working relationship with their supervisors.
It explores the University of Liverpool and XJTLU policies on this theme, demonstrates some snapshots of supervisory meetings, and provides students with an opportunity to listen to guest supervisors' views.
Workshop: Transnational Education

This workshop will explore and endeavour to define transnational education (TNE), and categorise the varieties of TNE modes in existence. It will evaluate the challenges and benefits of TNE for students, teaching staff, and Universities and reflect on these challenges and benefits in relation to your own teaching at XJTLU, and in possible future TNE employment contexts.

AEC Drop In Session
