西浦六名教师获苏州市教育局表彰 Academics receive municipal teaching awards

在教师节来临之际，西交利物浦大学六名教师因其杰出的教学工作获得苏州市教育局表彰。

Six academic staff from XJTLU have received awards from the Suzhou Municipal Education Bureau for their teaching excellence.

The bureau has rewarded staff from all types of educational institutions and universities in Suzhou for their teaching, ahead of national Teachers’ Day on 10 September.

Dr Hai-Ning Liang and Professor Yong Yue (picture below) from theDepartment of Computer Science and Software Engineeringwere rewarded first prize in the 2016 Suzhou Teaching Achievement Award for theirinnovative application of robots in programming teaching.
