China Talks public lecture series
Our China Talks series returns tonight with a light-hearted yet serious talk exploring what it means to be polite in China, focussing on the differences in body language and culture that can often confuse foreigners living here.
6pm, XJTLU Museum, Central Building. Come and join us!
Today's speaker, Pawel Zygadlo completed his doctoral studies in Taipei before teaching at Minjiang University in Fuzhou. His research focusses on, among other things, the importance of defining ‘Chineseness’ as well as what it means to be Chinese.
